Welcome to Power Word Daily. By downloading and using the App, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. License to Use
Power Word Daily is free to download and use. The free version includes the daily word, lock screen widget, word history, favorites, and streak tracking — supported by banner advertising.
A premium upgrade ("Power Word Premium") is available as a one-time in-app purchase of $4.99. Premium removes all ads and unlocks quiz mode, advanced statistics, and category filters. This is a non-consumable purchase — you own it forever after buying once.
2. Acceptable Use
You agree to:
- Use the App only on devices you own or control
- Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the App
- Not redistribute, sell, or sublicense the App or its content
- Not use the App for any unlawful purpose
3. Content
The word database, definitions, example sentences, and "why this word is useful" content are original works created by Power Word Daily. You may use words you learn from the App in your own speech and writing — that's the whole point. However, you may not copy and redistribute the App's content database in bulk.
4. In-App Purchases
- Premium is a one-time, non-recurring purchase of $4.99 USD
- Payment is processed by Apple through the App Store
- Premium is tied to your Apple ID and can be restored on new devices for free
- All sales are final unless required by applicable law
- There is no subscription. You will never be charged again after the one-time purchase
5. Advertising
The free version displays banner ads through Google AdMob. Ads are placed only on the History screen to avoid interrupting the core daily word experience. Purchasing Premium removes all advertising permanently.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that:
- The App will be available at all times without interruption
- All word definitions, pronunciations, or example sentences are error-free
- The App will function on future iOS versions without updates
We make reasonable effort to ensure accuracy, but language is nuanced. If you spot an error, please email info.chelle.life@gmail.com and we will fix it.
7. Limitation of Liability
Power Word Daily and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the App. The App is an educational tool, not professional advice.
8. Changes to the App
We may update the App's content (adding new words, fixing errors) and features over time. We may also stop supporting the App at some point in the future. If we discontinue the App, your Premium purchase remains valid for as long as you have the App installed.

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
